Rendering of New Building

The Alco project will require a large number of parking spaces to accommodate the tenants and visitors on the site. To reduce the amount of surface parking and its negative affect on the environment two parking structures will be built on the site. This above rendering represents a parking garage wrapped with ground floor retail and possible office or residential units above.

JWR Community Service Day 2006

This just in – The Northern RI Conservation District Board of Directors has voted the Riverside Mills Riparian Habitat Restoration Project as the 2006 Urban Conservation Project of the Year Award. Congratulations team!

Partner Organizations Included:
Armory Properties, City of Providence Parks Department, Olneyville Collaborative, Puente, The Steel Yard, Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse, Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council, Gates Leighton & Associates, and Rosciti Construction.

Is that a Diner?

Yes — One of Rhode Island's historic diner cars will be located on the ALCO site. A few of these icon eateries still exist in the area and with some caring restoration one of them will be open again for business in the valley.
